WOULD YOU LIKE TO TAKE YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS, COLLEAGUES OR YOUR ASSOCIATION TO BOKRIJK?
Discover the Bruegel Trail with an experienced Bokrijk guide. Who was Pieter Bruegel? Which little known story connects him and Bokrijk? How do you interpret Bruegel’s landscape paintings and what do his encyclopaedic works tell us about daily life in the 16th century? You get the answers to all thanks to a fascinating journey through the museum, while taking some time at each of our Bruegel stops. Finally we show a selection of original 16th-century objects from the Netherlands collected by the Viennese museum’s Bruegel expert Sabine Pénot, items that were contemporaries, as it were, of Pieter Bruegel and that often played a role as painter's models in his work.
